my fiancée woke me up. she told me the dallas mavericks had just traded my sweet sweet boy, luka doncic, to the lakers. i tried to convince myself that i was just dreaming. that this was just a cruel and unnecessarily vivid nightmare. but then i turned on sportscenter. and that was it. that was the moment i realized that i may never feel joy again...
